We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Simphony Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in migrating Simphony from version 18 to version 19, along with strong .NET development skills. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, a passion for delivering high-quality solutions, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the migration of Simphony from version 18 to version 19, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Simphony applications to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust and scalable software solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Simphony applications.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Document technical specifications, user guides, and other project-related documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Simphony.
• Proven experience in migrating Simphony from version 18 to version 19.
• Strong proficiency in .NET development is a significant advantage.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Oracle Hospitality products and solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience with web services and APIs.
