Role Summary

Senior Sewerage Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for

  planning, design review, and implementation

  of sewerage and wastewater systems under PGMC
• Review DPRs, detailed designs, hydraulic calculations, and drawings for

  sewer networks, pumping stations, STPs, and reuse systems

• Ensure compliance with

  CPHEEO Manual, BIS standards, MoHUA guidelines, and Andhra Pradesh state regulations

• Support procurement and tendering activities including

  bid documents, BOQs, and technical specifications

• Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety in coordination with supervision teams
• Review contractor submissions including

  shop drawings, method statements, QA/QC plans, and material approvals

• Coordinate with

  APCRDA, ULBs, contractors, and other stakeholders

• Identify design and execution risks and propose corrective measures
• Provide periodic technical reports and inputs to the PGMC leadership

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Master Degree (Environment or Similar)

• Minimum

  15 years of experience

  in

  urban sewerage and wastewater infrastructure projects

• Strong experience in

  capital city / large urban development projects

• Prior experience in

  PGMC / PMC / multilateral-funded projects

  is highly desirable

Key Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in

  urban sewerage planning, STP design review, and sewer network systems

• Thorough knowledge of

  CPHEEO, BIS, and state statutory requirements

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a

  program management and multi-package environment

• Proficiency in design review tools, drawings, and reporting
