About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with deep expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and strong exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize custom solutions, extensions, and integrations for SAP systems, leveraging RAP, OData, and modern ABAP paradigms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex SAP ABAP solutions in FI module using OOABAP principles.
• Develop and maintain applications using SAP BTP, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model), and OData Services.
• Work on ABAP on HANA, CDS views, performance-optimized coding.
• Develop custom applications using Eclipse-based ADT environment and follow Clean ABAP and strict mode standards.
• Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and support production issues as part of enhancement and maintenance activities.
• Document technical specifications, unit test cases, and solution architecture.

Required Skills

• Core Expertise:

  SAP ABAP (OOABAP, Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs).

• Advanced Skills:

• ABAP on HANA (CDS, performance tuning)
• RAP model and OData service creation
• SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Destination, XSUAA, Workflow, CAP awareness)
• Eclipse ADT
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration concepts, and Fiori/UI5 frameworks.
