Senior Salesforce Developer (Platform Owner)

The Senior Salesforce Developer position at Upstep Academy involves owning the entire Salesforce ecosystem end-to-end. In this role, you will be responsible for Salesforce architecture, development, and administration, focusing primarily on Sales Cloud with potential involvement in Service/Experience Cloud. Your tasks will include building solutions using Apex, LWC, and SOQL, as well as designing scalable data models and flows. Ensuring security, performance, data quality, and release governance will be key aspects of your role. You will collaborate with various departments such as Operations, Sales, and Relationship Management to translate processes into robust Salesforce solutions. Additionally, you will define the roadmap for Salesforce implementations, stay updated on relevant Salesforce releases, and mentor junior team members as the company scales. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of experience in Salesforce Development, with expertise in Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Administration. Proficiency in building and maintaining Visualforce Pages and Lightning Web Components is required. Strong experience in integrations, SOQL/SOSL queries, and security models is necessary. A proven track record of leading implementations or re-architecting organizations is also desired. The candidate should be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Possessing a Platform Developer II certification is a requirement, while Architect certifications are considered a plus. Additional qualifications such as experience in DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, SFDX), EdTech, or multi-region B2C setups would be advantageous. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
