Job Description

Dear Candidate,

Were looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications. Youll take ownership of core features, influence technical decisions, and mentor other developers while working closely with product, design, and business teams.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
Lead implementation of complex features end to end
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
Review code and provide constructive feedback to teammates
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders
Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability

Requirements:

7+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
Strong understanding of Ruby, Rails conventions, and MVC architecture
Experience with RESTful APIs and background jobs (Sidekiq, Resque, etc.)
Solid knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Familiarity with RSpec or similar testing frameworks
Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
