Senior Risk Analyst

Key responsibilities:

• You will work with data to understand patterns and analyse risk to business activities and operations
• You will work closely with Engineering and Product to develop fraud risk solutions.
• Provide support to cross-functional teams in their risk analytics requests.
• You are responsible for defining, developing, and communicating key metrics that need to be monitored to prevent risk.
• Building a strategic approach for the process optimisations/improvements
• Maintain effective performance by being adaptable and positive in approach to circumstances.
• Build outcome-driven KRAs for the Team and strive to lead the team with continuous improvements.

Skills & Requirements:

• Over 2-4 years of experience in managing credit risk, fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML) processes, data analytics, and pattern recognition
• Exposure to fraud detection, piracy mitigation strategies
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and BI Tools.  Familiarity with ML models and Generative AI is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating cross-functionally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of risk awareness, audit discipline, and controls
• Prior exposure to user behaviour monitoring and risk management

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with ed-tech platforms or subscription-based services
• Exposure to risk management and mitigation
• Able to speak multi-lingually fluently
