About the Job and Key Responsibilities:
As part of our expanding Finance Functions, we're establishing a new role within our Shared Service Capability Center in Mangalore, India. We're looking for a Senior Revenue Controller with a strong background in finance, particularly within functions such as Accounts Receivable, Invoicing or Group Controlling. This role is essential to ensure transparency by providing in-depth insights into cash flow and revenue streams, while also ensuring completeness of invoicing and knowledge sharing with Financial Business Partnering (FBP) & Group Controlling.In this role, you'll work in close partnership with the Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Treasury, FBP, and Controlling teams in both India and Denmark. Your primary objective will be to ensure an analytical approach to cash applications, invoicing, and cash collection, while also securing the completeness of financial transactions. To achieve this, you will develop a deep understanding of existing workflows across these functions, optimize them to align with EG's financial structure, and enhance overall efficiency.Your work will focus on building a robust, data-driven revenue controlling function that provides an overview of revenue streams from a cash and completeness perspective. Regular engagement with Danish counterparts across multiple finance functions will allow you to exchange insights on best practices and process improvements, ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach across key financial areas.As you establish an analytical approach to revenue activities, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful financial data that supports EG's global finance structure. Additionally, with access to ERP systems like Oracle NetSuite, you will receive hands-on training and ongoing support from the Danish team, equipping you with the skills to navigate financial processes, leverage data insights, and drive operational efficiency in this newly established role.
Your Workday and Tasks
In this position, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in India, Denmark, and other Nordic regions.Your main tasks will include:
- Establishing the Revenue Controlling function to support a data-driven approach in monitoring cash streams and financial completeness across the Group. 
 - Collaborating with key stakeholders including Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Accounts Payable, IT, Business Operations, Financial Business Partnering (FBP), and Controlling teams to enhance cash flow visibility and completeness. 
 - Process Optimization: Developing and refining revenue controlling processes, integrating efficient financial practices with a holistic view of financial data flows. 
 - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating tasks with Nordic colleagues and handling administrative controlling tasks related to invoicing, cash collection, and financial completeness. 
 - Implementing and Reporting KPIs related to invoicing, cash collection, and financial completeness to enhance operational efficiency and strategic financial planning. 
 - Net Working Capital Management: Understanding and improving Net Working Capital, working closely with Treasury and Financial Business Partnering to optimize cash flow and financial planning. 
 
We will provide a thorough introduction to the role and financial landscape. However, the ideal candidate will take initiative in shaping and defining the role alongside Nordic and Indian finance teams. The Nordic team will always be available for support and sparring, ensuring a balanced and structured approach to role development and execution.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- 5-7 years of experience in financial controlling, revenue controlling, or accounting within an international environment. 
 - Fluent in English, with strong communication skills (both spoken and written). 
 - Strong controlling mindset, with a clear understanding of revenue streams and financial accuracy. 
 - Experience in financial control and compliance, ideally within international standards such as IFRS. 
 - Proven ability to work with revenue controlling, ensuring completeness of invoicing and structured financial reporting. 
 - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations. 
 - ERP system expertise, particularly in integrating financial processes and optimizing related tools. 
 - Detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
 - Prior experience in Shared Service Centers or similar financial environments, with a strong understanding of compliance standards and financial operations. 
 - A proactive and strategic mindset, capable of structuring and developing a newly established function. 
 - Comfortable in a role that requires both hands-on execution and strategic development of financial controlling processes.
