Senior Resident || Internal Medicine

Role & responsibilities Look after & manage the patients under the guidance of the consultant To assist the consultant in all procedures/operations related to the department In the absence of the Consultant to faithfully look after the patients along the indicated line of treatment To be an in-house consultant for all emergency situations encountered in the hospital. Actively participate in presentations of CMEs and Journal clubs Assist the consultants in all emergency cases Participate actively in the teaching program of nursing staff and technicians Supervise all nursing/ para medical & non medical staff of the department to maintain discipline and high standard of medical care at the department as per standard operating procedure Assists the Consultant for: Special material management requirement Ensure quality of performance of the department Complaint redressal of patients Perform independently /assist in procedures as per the clinical privileges authorized Actively participate in presentations of CME’s and Journal clubs. Assist the consultant To complete patient history form, visit patient and review medical record. Obtain relevant clinical information for inclusion in report To be an in-house consultant for all emergency situations encountered in the hospital. Interaction with patient attendants to brief them about current status, anticipated recovery and any other specific issues or problems Supervise all nursing/ paramedical & non medical staff of the department to maintain discipline and high standard of medical care at the department as per standard operating procedure.
