Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior React Developer with expertise in Design Systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining our design system components, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the user interface. Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of a scalable and reusable Design System using React, ensuring high-quality code standards and consistency across all product platforms. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure design systems are implemented effectively and align with visual and functional specifications. Develop and document UI components that can be reused across multiple projects and platforms, including mobile and web. Optimize performance and responsiveness of components, ensuring seamless user experiences. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Work closely with other teams (such as backend developers, product managers, and designers) to ensure design system implementation is aligned with product goals. Stay up to date with the latest React development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the development process. Required Skills Qualifications 8+ years of experience as a React Developer or Frontend Engineer. Strong experience with React and building complex applications. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 . Deep understanding of Design Systems , including their creation and maintenance. Experience with UI Component Libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design, etc.). Familiarity with version control systems like Git . Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating design systems with backend services. Strong knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first principles. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with TypeScript . Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less. Knowledge of Node.js and build tools like Webpack. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
