Position Purpose:

The Quantity Surveyor will be involved in Calculating quantities, BBS, Contractor Billing, Client Billing, FIM Controlling, Reconciliation, change order, drawing review, technical documentation etc.

Dimensions:

He should be able to work independently and capable of fast decision making. He will be working under minimum guidance of seniors/ Managers

• Responsible for all day-to-day Quantity Surveying activities.
• Calculating the actual quantity of materials as per the IFC drawing & standard mode of measurement.
• Preparing Bar Bending Schedule as per the approved IFC drawing and certifying the BBS for Sub-contractors.
• Preparing Client RA Bill EPC Billing & submitting the same with relevant documents for certification.
• Checking of contractors monthly RA Bill and certifying the work done measurement and to ensure that the contractor should submit all relevant documents for billing.
• Checking and ensuring monthly reconciliation statement of Free issue material submitted by contractors.
• Calculating the requirement of Free Issue Material (cement & steel) as per the work schedule plan and submitting to HO Project Management for raising Purchase requisition.
• Checking the availability of material at site & ensure the availability of brought out items as per the plan.
• Checking the drawing for constructability & co-ordinate with design team.
• Preparing change order for Contractors work scope.
• Coordinate with client/contractors and site team to resolve site related issues.

Qualification & Skills:

• Diploma /B. tech in Civil engineering from reputed college / Universities.
• Min. 6-10 years of experience in civil work construction related to power plants.

Specific Skills:

• Possess good knowledge & Experience of Construction Works.
• Prepares engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with large and diverse team.
• Excellent client facing skills together with clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly Proficient user of MS Office.
• Good commend of AUTOCAD.
• Attention to detail and ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support other projects.
