Senior Quality Ops Specialist

Role Overview: As a Senior Quality Ops Specialist at McDermott, you will utilize best practices and your expertise to enhance the Operations discipline. You will serve as a valuable resource for colleagues, offering guidance and sharing your knowledge to improve products or services. Your role will involve resolving complex problems and ensuring that all activities within the Operations team comply with guidelines and policies. Key Responsibilities: - Report day-to-day activities to the Quality manager when necessary - Supervise Quality Control activities to assess product conformity to customer specifications - Identify and rectify non-conformities to ensure final resolution - Direct, supervise, and participate in inspection activities to maintain product quality - Develop Project Quality Plans and inspection/test plans in coordination with the Project Quality Manager - Liaise with various departments and stakeholders to address Quality issues and ensure technical resolution - Verify QC inspector effectiveness through random audits - Interface with customer representatives to ensure product conformity and stage release for each activity as per the Project Quality Plan/ITP Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study preferred - Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management - Proficiency in computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook Additional Company Details: At McDermott, our ingenuity drives daily life by forging trusted partnerships across the energy value chain.
