Senior Quality Ops Specialist

As a Senior Quality Ops Specialist at McDermott, your role involves utilizing best practices and expertise to enhance the Operations discipline. Key Responsibilities: - Report day-to-day activities to the Quality manager as needed - Supervise Quality Control activities to assess product conformity to customer specifications - Identify and rectify non-conformities to achieve final resolution - Direct, supervise, and participate in inspection activities to uphold product quality standards - Collaborate with the Project Quality Manager to develop Project Quality Plans and inspection/test plans - Liaise with various departments and customers to address and resolve Quality issues - Appraise product quality based on the Project Quality Plan and determine conformity - Coordinate interfaces with relevant stakeholders to ensure project specifications compliance - Verify QC inspector effectiveness through random audits - Proactively prevent problems by engaging with production, engineering, and management personnel - Ensure product conformity and stage release for each activity as per the Project Quality Plan/ITP Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study preferred - Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management - Proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook McDermott is a company that has been at the forefront of driving the energy transition for over 100 years.
