Senior Quality Assurance Tester

You will be collaborating with cross-functional agile project teams to ensure quality is driven from requirements definition through to delivery by identifying, documenting, and prioritizing software issues. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases and plans to verify software product functionality and performance. You will be required to increase the effectiveness and accuracy of testing procedures by creating automated test scripts. Understanding Non-Functional Requirements such as Performance & Load, response time, SLAs for Application/System Performance/Availability will be essential. You will work closely with the Business Analysis team for reviewing Non-Functional Requirements and providing necessary feedback. Designing Load Models and Performance Test Scenarios as per the Test Strategy to test Performance Requirements will also be a part of your role. Identifying Test Data needs and building Performance Test scripts & Performance Test Scenarios using Performance Testing tools like HP Load Runner, NeoLoad, Jmeter, and WebLoad are key aspects of this position. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating Performance Test Reports covering current Performance levels, Bottlenecks, and recommendations for Performance Optimization/ Improvements. As a creative thinker, you will need to quickly identify and test for functional edge cases outside of expected functionality workflow. You should have the drive to become an expert in various testing areas such as Unit testing, UX Testing, UI Testing, Integration testing of APIs, Performance and scalability testing, and Security Penetration Testing. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree, preferably in B.E / B. Tech. A strong background in QA automation with at least 3+ years of experience is required. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++ is necessary. Experience in writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using technologies like Cucumber, Concordion, Selenium, Fit/FitNesse, SoapUI is preferred. You must have at least 3 years of experience in any of the Load & Performance tools for scripting, execution, and analysis, such as Microfocus LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, NeoLoad, and Gatling. Additionally, proficiency in working with relational databases such as MySQL & PostgreSQL is expected.,
