You will be collaborating with cross-functional agile project teams to ensure quality is driven from requirements definition through to delivery by identifying, documenting, and prioritizing software issues. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases and plans to verify software product functionality and performance. You will be required to increase the effectiveness and accuracy of testing procedures by creating automated test scripts. Understanding Non-Functional Requirements such as Performance & Load, response time, SLAs for Application/System Performance/Availability will be essential. You will work closely with the Business Analysis team for reviewing Non-Functional Requirements and providing necessary feedback. Designing Load Models and Performance Test Scenarios as per the Test Strategy to test Performance Requirements will also be a part of your role. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree, preferably in B.E / B. Tech. A strong background in QA automation with at least 3+ years of experience is required. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++ is necessary. Experience in writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using technologies like Cucumber, Concordion, Selenium, Fit/FitNesse, SoapUI is preferred. Position Purpose The monitoring-subteam is responsible for the whole monitoring infrastructure, based on icinga for on-premise and for the cloud-related assets based on Dynatrace, including supporting systems like Grafana, Jenkins, Influxdb and the corresponding maintenance. The team takes care on the overall application livecycle of the monitoring systems of PI Germany, which means they are responsible for installing, upgrading, maintaining all kinds of updates, patches, hotfixes, In addition to that, they are direct contact for all kind of requests related to the monitoring infrastructure, i.e. service requests for adding/modifying systems, or modifying checks. They also take care of the used monitoring plugins, and also the used custom plugins. The Application Engineering Subteam is responsible for setting up and integrating new business applications, and finally bringing them into production. We are dealing with e.g. apache tomcat, apache httpd, nginx, jboss eap (all based on linux) and many other legacy applications. Currently we are integrating our ansible scripts and roles into our rundeck solution, to provide a proper frontend for triggering application deployments. As part of that team, it is necessary to troubleshoot, develop and enhance our application automation infrastructure, based on ansible and rundeck, to provide a stable and error-freesolution.
