Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer focusing on test automation, you will play a crucial role in the software quality assurance team to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile apps and SaaS platform. Your responsibilities include ensuring that the work produced by you and your team members meets the standards required by our customers. You will report to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team that values continuous improvement. Your role will involve maintaining up-to-date knowledge and documentation of tests, collaborating with colleagues to continuously test and maintain the platform and data, and learning new skills to enhance automation tests for maintaining product quality. You will work independently to explore the application thoroughly and identify any coverage gaps, while gaining deep knowledge of product functionality. The ideal candidate for this role holds a BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience. You should have at least 5+ years of experience in Test Automation and 3+ years in Manual testing, preferably in a Senior QA Engineer or similar role. Experience with Android and iOS devices, knowledge of manual and automation testing, and familiarity with automation frameworks and coding are essential for this position. Additionally, you should be results-driven, innovative, and capable of proactively identifying and resolving issues. You must be able to prioritize workload, work collaboratively in a team-based environment, and drive initiatives to completion independently. Proficiency in tools such as Appium, Dart programming, Google Firebase, TestFlight, Android Studio, Jenkins, GitHub, SQL, and continuous integration and deployment pipelines is preferred. Experience with Flutter, Native, and SDKs applications, Ubuntu, CI/CD pipelines for post-deployment verification, security testing, and contract testing is a plus. Knowledge of tools like BrowerStack, Lambdatest, confluence JIRA, and X-Ray Test Management Tool will be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to support the operations team in resolving production incidents and ensuring successful releases in Production.
