Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for functional and regression testing cycles. You need to identify, accurately record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution using appropriate defect management tools. It is essential to apply your strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques such as black-box, white-box, and exploratory testing to ensure robust test coverage. Additionally, you will conduct database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform API testing to ensure backend functionality and integrations. Working closely with development, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum development methodology environment is key. Taking ownership of the quality of assigned features and modules, ensuring they meet specified requirements and performance standards, will be part of your responsibilities. Proactively identifying opportunities for test process improvement and contributing to overall quality assurance best practices within the team is also expected. Maintaining clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation is crucial for this role. - Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. - Proven hands-on experience in Manual Testing. - Solid knowledge of databases and proficiency in writing SQL queries. - Experience with API testing. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Good written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and frameworks. - Proficiency in Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Demonstrated ability to perform Functional and Regression Testing.
