Senior QA Technician

As a Quality Assurance Officer at the company located in Earls Road, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, Falkirk, United Kingdom, your role will involve supporting disposition through the review of manufacturing, laboratory, and associated documentation prior to QP review and disposition of final products. In case of potential issues, it is essential to highlight them to the QA Team Leader or QA Manager. Additionally, you will review relevant documentation related to incoming raw materials, act as the department point of contact for SAP and material clearance, and provide oversight of the Technician team workload. Key Responsibilities: - Review manufacturing, laboratory, and associated documentation - Approve material specifications and material documentation packs for incoming raw materials - Act as a point of contact for SAP and material clearance - Provide oversight of Technician team workload - Complete allocated change control action and CAPA records - Generate and check labels for products and status - Provide line clearance for manufacturing activities - Shadow lead QA Officers on client calls - Support QA Officers with documentation and procedural updates Qualifications Required: - BSc in a relevant Scientific discipline or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years experience in a cGMP environment manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients - College/University qualification in a scientific subject - Experience in quality assurance, analytical chemistry, development, and manufacturing groups is beneficial Your competencies should include attention to detail, good communication skills (both verbal and written), good organization skills, ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team, ability to analyze data and information to make considered decisions, ability to identify the root cause of problems and determine appropriate solutions, ability to prioritize workload to ensure timelines are met, ability to follow instructions accurately, and ability to escalate issues as appropriate.,
