Job Description

Job Title: Senior Functional QA Engineer

Experience: 5 -10 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Mode of work: Hybrid

Shift timings: 12 PM 8 PM IST

We are seeking a Senior Functional QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing, healthcare domain knowledge, and database validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle DBA fundamentals, writing complex SQL queries, and performing end-to-end testing of APIs and UI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional testing of applications with a strong focus on the healthcare domain.
Validate and manage backend processes using Oracle DBA fundamentals and should be able to write complex queries.
Design and execute API testing and UI testing to ensure end-to-end quality.
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong experience in Functional Testing with focus on the Healthcare domain.
Hands-on experience in Oracle DBA fundamentals with ability to write complex SQL queries.
Proficiency in API Testing and UI Testing.
Experience with Jira for defect management and Agile Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
Experience in performance testing.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
