Senior QA Engineer (Automation & Manual) Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India Experience: 4-6 years Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for both manual and automated testing across web, mobile, applications. Test Case Design & Execution: Create detailed test cases based on functional specifications and user stories; execute manual tests and automate repetitive test scenarios. Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. API Testing: Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or SoapUI; validate responses, error handling, and security aspects. Performance & Load Testing: Utilize tools like JMeter to assess application performance under various load conditions and identify potential bottlenecks. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA; collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 4-6years in QA engineering with at least 3 years in test automation. Manual Testing Expertise: Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect management. Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, or similar tools. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java or JavaScript,Typescript. API Testing: Experience with tools like Postman or SoapUI for API testing. Performance Testing: Familiarity with JMeter or similar tools for load and performance testing. Version Control: Experience with Bitbucket/Git for source code management. CI/CD Integration: Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools. Test Management Tools: Experience with tools like TestRail or Zephyr. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, communication and interpersonal skills
