Senior QA Engineer

Role & responsibilities: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer for quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation using Cypress and Playwright , along with solid programming skills in Java . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and performance of web applications. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright . Write clean, modular, and scalable test code using Java . Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data. Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline. Identify, document, and track bugs, and verify fixes across environments. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks. Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are achieved across components. Preferred candidate profile: Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber is advantageous. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker is desirable. ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
