Description
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of web applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify test requirements, define test strategies, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Test Automation Development o Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools. o Ensure automation frameworks are scalable, reusable, and follow best practices. o Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (eg, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). 2. Test Planning and Execution o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze testing requirements. o Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications. o Execute automated and manual tests as needed to validate application functionality. 3. Bug Tracking and Reporting o Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. o Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes. 4. Quality Assurance Strategy o Define and implement quality assurance processes and standards. o Conduct code reviews for automated tests and suggest improvements. o Mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices. Technical Skills: o Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing. o Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python. o Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit. o Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow. o Hands-on experience with version control systems (eg, Git). o Working knowledge of API testing tools (eg, Restassure, Postman, or SoapUI). Soft Skills: o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment. Education and Experience: o 5+ years of experience in QA automation testing
