Senior Python Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate functional designs into scalable and maintainable technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain Python-based scripts for service plans and Resource Adapter (RA) development.
• Work on network provisioning and orchestration using

  Blue Planet

  (preferred).
• Design and deploy microservices in cloud environments such as

  AWS

  ,

  Azure

  , or

  GCP

  .
• Build and integrate REST APIs and streaming applications using

  Kafka

  .
• Implement best practices in DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Leverage TMF Open APIs for service integration and orchestration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, network engineers, QA, and DevOps professionals.
• Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver reliable, long-term solutions to minimize downtime.
  

Technical Skills Required:

• Programming:

  Python 3.x

• API Development:

  REST API design and integration

• Messaging Systems:

  Kafka (event-driven architecture)

• Cloud Platforms:

  AWS / Azure / GCP (microservices deployment)

• DevOps Tools:

  Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform (or similar)

• Network Automation:

  Blue Planet (preferred), strong understanding of network orchestration concepts

• Frameworks & Standards:

  TMF Open APIs

• Version Control:

  GitHub, Bitbucket

• Additional Skills:

  Strong debugging, logging, and performance tuning capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in IT transformation and software development
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Python scripting and automation
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with network orchestration platforms (Blue Planet preferred)
• Solid understanding of network architecture and telecom protocols (advantageous)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in collaborative Agile environments
