Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Application Development

    • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, APIs, and microservices with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
    • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

  • Database & Data Handling

    • Work with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Firebase) databases for schema design, query optimization, and efficient data storage/retrieval.
    • Contribute to ETL processes and build scalable data pipelines for business-critical workflows.

  • System Integrations & API Development

    • Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
    • Ensure seamless integration across platforms, third-party services, and internal systems.

  • Collaboration & Delivery

    • Work closely with frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
    • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.

  • Deployment & DevOps

    • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications in production environments.

  • AI/ML (Plus Responsibility)

    • If skilled in AI/ML, design, train, and deploy ML models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
    • Collaborate with data engineers to build model-ready datasets and integrate AI-driven features into production systems.

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Python, backend engineering, and AI/ML ecosystems.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance product performance, scalability, and reliability.
