Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY Collaborate closely with Analytics and Portfolio Managers to understand and address their technical needs, while designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and systems. Lead and manage end-to-end product delivery to ensure high-quality, timely releases, and work with offshore teams, providing guidance and maintaining alignment with project goals. Primary Skill: Python Hands-on experience with distributed and data-intensive applications Proficiency in building dynamic and static reports using Python Strong understanding of building RESTful APIs with Python Familiarity with Python code/design practices and best practices Cloud and Infrastructure: Exposure to AWS (preferably AWS Certified Architect) Experience with Snowflake and relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres Familiarity with working on both Linux and Windows environments Understanding of distributed systems and their challenges DevOps and CI/CD: Experience with GitLab/GitHub and understanding of CI/CD best practices Proficiency in building and managing deployment pipelines Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with onsite clients Experience in working with Asset Management firms or Investment Banks is highly desirable Ability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams
