Senior Python Backend Developer (Healthcare Domain) Location: Remote Experience: 6+ Years Compensation: Open Based on Experience Apply at: sapna@orangesiri.com About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Developer with deep expertise in Django/DRF and healthcare data integration standards (FHIR/HL7). The ideal candidate will design scalable APIs, implement secure data exchanges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful healthcare solutions Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands-on Python development experience. Frameworks: Proficiency in Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF) . APIs: Experience in building scalable RESTful APIs and FHIR-based services. Databases: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL , MySQL , and ORM tools. Tools: Experience with Git , Docker , Kubernetes , CI/CD , and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Security: Understanding of OAuth2 , JWT , and secure authentication flows. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF). Build and manage RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and third-party service integration. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth and efficient UI/UX integration. Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and security. Diagnose and resolve technical issues; conduct performance tuning and debugging. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Ensure data protection and compliance with relevant privacy and security standards. Implement automated testing strategies and participate in regular code reviews to uphold code quality. Stay informed about emerging technologies in backend development and proactively share insights with the team. Good to Have: Experience in the healthcare domain or a product-based company. Knowledge of microservices architecture , API gateways, and CI/CD automation. Exposure to front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
