Senior Project Manager

1. Project Planning & Leadership

• Lead complete project lifecycle from initiation to commissioning and handover.
  
• Prepare detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  
• Review engineering designs and ensure compliance with technical and industry standards.
  

2. Execution & Coordination

• Manage on-site construction activities, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
  
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Safety, and Operations teams.
  
• Ensure availability of materials, manpower, and equipment as per project timelines.
  

3. Monitoring & Control

• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, progress, and safety compliance.
  
• Prepare MIS reports, progress updates, and escalation reports for management.
  

4. Budget & Commercial Management

• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cost optimization opportunities.
  
• Approve vendor bills, manage contract compliance, and ensure commercial closure.
  
• Handle BOQs, work orders, billing milestones, and financial forecasts.
  

5. Compliance & Quality Control

• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, solar standards, and company policies.
  
• Oversee quality control for installation, commissioning, and testing activities.
  
• Ensure all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) norms are strictly followed.
  

6. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  
• Manage client expectations, conduct review meetings, and ensure satisfaction.
  
• Handle project-related documentation, approvals, and statutory clearances.
  

7. Team Management

• Guide and mentor junior engineers, site supervisors, and PMT staff.
  
• Conduct training sessions and ensure high performance within the project team.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of solar EPC, design, and execution.
  
• Excellent project planning (MS Project/Primavera preferred).
  
• Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  
• Knowledge of industry standards (IEC, IS, MNRE, DISCOM norms).
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  
• MBA/Project Management Certification (added advantage).
  
• 8–15+ years of experience in Solar EPC/Power Project Management.
