Senior Project Engineer SCADA Networking

Role Overview: You will be responsible for HMI / SCADA Development, Database creation, Gateway server configuration, technical co-ordination, ensuring the SCADA system meets customer requirements as per Hitachi standards. Your main focus will be on continuously improving HVDCs Overall HMI. You will also develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA software platforms, design and develop a secured network architecture for SCADA/ HMI system, and coordinate with sub suppliers and stakeholders in different locations. Additionally, you will customize templates, faceplates, and popups in Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA to meet project-specific HMI requirements, participate in FAT/SAT activities, and support site commissioning. Your role will involve evaluating and strengthening the security of connections to the DCS/SCADA/HMI network, leading automation projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines while embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Focus on continuous improvement of HVDCs Overall HMI - Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA software platforms - Design and develop a secured network architecture for SCADA/HMI system - Coordinate with sub suppliers and stakeholders in different locations - Customize templates, faceplates, and popups in Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA - Participate in FAT/SAT activities and support site commissioning - Evaluate and strengthen the security of connections to the DCS/SCADA/HMI network - Lead automation projects and guide/mentor team members - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electronics and Instrumentation (E&I) - Minimum 13+ years of working experience in substation automation projects across India and international locations - Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure including Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Servers, and workstations, with basic networking skills - Knowledge in Micro SCADA, Zenon (Copa Data), MS Visio, and MS Office - Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to finalize solutions - Preferable certifications in SCADA/HMI, Networking, CCNA, CCNP, Cyber Security - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Note: Omitted the additional details of the company as they were not present in the provided job description),
