Job Title: Senior Project Engineer HVAC (Chillers)

Position Summary:

HVAC Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and understand project specifications, technical drawings, and BOQs related to HVAC systems with a focus on chillers (air-cooled/water-cooled).
• Plan and oversee the installation, commissioning, and performance testing of chiller systems in commercial and industrial projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Select HVAC equipment (chillers, pumps, AHUs, cooling towers, etc.) based on project requirements and ensure procurement timelines are met.
• Conduct load calculations, system design reviews, and provide technical solutions during project execution.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Supervise site activities to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, testing reports, and O&M manuals.
• Support the service team during post-installation handover and troubleshooting if required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience:

  Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in executing HVAC projects with a strong focus on

  chiller systems

  .

• Technical Skills:

• Sound knowledge of chiller systems (central plants, variable primary/secondary systems).
• Familiarity with HVAC codes and standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and HVAC design tools (e.g., HAP, Carrier software).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and implement them on-site.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent project coordination and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across South India.
