Senior Project Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate architect to manage the design process in all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to match BACL/BAHLs needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors of Architecture from TIRE 1 College. 10-12 years of experience out of which minimum 5 Years with consultancy experience in design of Hotels, Retail, Commercial and Business Parks / IT Parks Requirements Proven working experience as an architect and Urban planner/designer Strong portfolio to showcase key design skills wrt to Architecture design and sustainable buildings Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Revit, ACAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, 3d Studio VIZ or similar) Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions Visual awareness and an eye for detail Good presentation, Communication and design management skills Responsibilities Independently control project design process from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative, functional and sustainable design Keen understanding of the kind of issues to be discussed with the larger team when required Develop ideas keeping in mind BACL/BAHLs needs, building’s usage and environmental impact, implementing urban design guidelines Create scope of works, the design brief, put together feasibility reports and preliminary design proposals swiftly To take up International case studies as secondary research for drawings inferences and informing the design Coordinate with external consultants and internal team to bring out the best possible design for the defined brief Compile project specifications and monitor wrt budgets and timelines provided by consultants Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations Make site visits to check on project status and report the status of project Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals.
