Senior Program Manager

As the System Integration and Verification Lead for Daimler Bus/Trucks, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful integration and verification of vehicle projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative solutions that align with strategic goals. By managing teams, fostering innovation, and collaborating globally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and competitiveness of the business unit. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include guiding, supervising, and reviewing system integration projects. You will be expected to effectively manage projects and teams, ensuring that results are achieved within approved schedules, costs, and quality plans. Communication with teams, customers, stakeholders, and suppliers will be essential for successful project execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring, developing competencies, training, and managing team performance to align with organizational goals. Innovation and problem-solving will be at the core of your responsibilities, as you foster a culture of innovation by identifying problems, developing solutions, and driving improvements in test strategies. Collaboration is key in this role, and you will lead cross-functional activities and work closely with the leadership team to improve processes and enhance efficiency, excellence, and competitiveness. Key Skills required for this position include a deep understanding of vehicle systems, integration processes, and project management methodologies. Proficiency in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems, expertise in mechatronics systems with a focus on system verification, and strong knowledge of automotive protocols and standards are also essential. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have extensive experience in system integration and project management, with at least 15-18 years of overall experience in the automotive domain. Specific experience of 5+ years in software development or verification & validation for electric vehicle systems and 3+ years in people and project management are required. Any additional experience in a multi-cultural environment will be considered a plus.,
