Senior Production Chemist - Solid Dosage Form

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Production Chemist to oversee and manage the manufacturing of solid dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, powders and sachets. The role involves ensuring smooth production operations, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities for solid dosage forms in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and regulatory guidelines.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot machinery for tablet compression, capsule filling, and coating processes.
• Ensure correct documentation of production batches, process parameters, and deviations.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality and specifications are met.
• Manage raw material usage and monitor yield to reduce wastage.
• Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for production equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Pharm. / M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Chemistry / related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solid dosage form manufacturing (preferably in Ayurveda).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements (Ayush / FSSAI / Pharma).
• Hands-on experience with production equipment for tablets, capsules, powders and sachets.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
