You will be leading the design and implementation of complex multi-step synthetic routes, developing innovative methodologies for challenging organic transformations. Utilize critical thinking and advanced technical skills to independently address complex challenges in synthetic chemistry and assay development. Propose and implement innovative research strategies, contributing to scientific publications, patents, and presentations. Ensure meticulous documentation of experimental procedures and results, preparing detailed reports for knowledge sharing and compliance. Identify operational efficiency opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance research productivity. Adhere to safety regulations, quality assurance, and environmental standards to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment. In terms of team leadership, you will mentor and train team members to foster a collaborative environment, meeting productivity targets and maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate effectively with other departments to align research efforts with organizational goals, driving synergistic outcomes across projects. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will manage communications, provide technical expertise, and ensure the delivery of project milestones and quality results. Oversee and coordinate multiple research projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Qualifications required for this role include a PhD/Post Doc in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry.
