Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager with strong Utilities domain experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of an Oracle Platform subscription project within the Customer Corporate Enablement Portfolio in the Digital division. The project aims to Upgrade the Market Systems to the current long-term support release of Oracle 19C, migrate all Oracle Enterprise databases to an on-premise Oracle Cloud subscriptions (private cloud appliance), and minimize customer operational costs associated with the Oracle platform. Additionally, you will be involved in upgrading critical Market System databases to a supported version of Oracle, improving compliance with customer policies, and addressing security policy shortfalls within the current delivery model. Your role will also require you to have the ability to scale for short term workloads without procuring additional hardware or software and cease the expense of overprovisioned hardware required for the current architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Define, manage, and control the Lifecycle project to ensure quality, cost, and time requirements are met - Coordinate demand and co-present Lifecycle (end of life) infrastructure or application initiatives for approval to relevant delegation of authority - Consult and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and stakeholder expectations are well defined and met - Develop and maintain procedures such as Project Management Plan (PMP), policies, and controls to facilitate the achievement of key milestones within the project - Provide regular executive level status reports, communications, and advice on the project, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders. Escalate through appropriate channels where required - Evaluate the project and provide feedback to key stakeholders on benefits achieved and opportunities for improvement as part of driving continuous improvement across the business Qualifications Required: - Strong project management acumen and experience in running similar Oracle projects and upgrades - Experience in coordinating complex technical aspects related to information technology or electrical engineering projects If you have any questions, feel free to ask.,
