Senior Platform Product Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Platform Product Manager, your primary responsibility will be defining and managing the core platform services and APIs that drive the technology ecosystem of the company. You will collaborate closely with Platform Engineering and Software Development teams to create and unify foundational business APIs and services, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency throughout the organization. Your role will involve standardizing platform capabilities, enhancing system interoperability, and enabling all teams to utilize common infrastructure services effectively. To excel in this role, you should possess a robust technical background, expertise in API design principles, and a track record of establishing enterprise-wide platform strategies that minimize redundancy and streamline engineering efforts. Additionally, familiarity with Fintech, Healthcare, and related business domains encompassing industry regulations, operational workflows, and technological advancements is crucial for success. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the platform API strategy, promoting a unified and scalable approach across various teams. - Collaborate with Product Teams, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to design, build, and upkeep foundational APIs supporting critical business functions. - Ensure adherence to specified governance and best practices when implementing APIs, encompassing security, versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management. - Identify redundant or fragmented business capabilities in collaboration with engineering teams and drive standardization efforts. - Take ownership of the product roadmap for core platform services, ensuring alignment with engineering and business goals. - Create comprehensive API documentation, usage guidelines, and adoption strategies to foster cross-team consistency and operational efficiency. - Engage with stakeholders to prioritize platform enhancements, balancing immediate requirements with long-term scalability objectives. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience, with a focus on platform, infrastructure, or API-driven products. - Proficiency in API design, microservices architecture, and API lifecycle management. - Ability to evaluate organizational priorities and capabilities while maintaining a strategic perspective and long-term product vision. - Prior technical background or hands-on experience in software development, DevOps, or infrastructure is highly advantageous. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical challenges and propose platform solutions effectively. - Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, collaborating across engineering, security, compliance, and business units. - Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and New Relic is a plus. - Experience with API management platforms such as Kong, Apigee, and AWS API Gateway is beneficial. - Proficiency in Data Models, SQL, and database fundamentals is an added advantage.,
