Senior Piping Engineer (Stress)

As an Experienced Piping Engineer, you are eager to transition into a technical management role where you will be responsible for leading and executing engineering services for international mining projects within WSP's established systems and frameworks. You are passionate about mentoring and sharing your expertise with team members, including engineers, designers, and technicians. You are willing to actively contribute to project execution by rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in the tasks at hand. Your primary responsibilities in this role will include providing design input, performing technical checks, interpreting and applying technical and regulatory codes, collaborating on plant layouts, 3D models, and detailed mechanical and piping designs. You will also be responsible for enforcing CAD standards, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and serving as a key interface between U.S.-based project managers and the support engineering team in India to ensure alignment, communication, and the delivery of quality project outcomes. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential for success in this position. You must also be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently. Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam Revu is required, as well as intermediate CAD skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Plant 3D. Additionally, you should be proficient in stress analysis using Caesar II. To qualify for this role, you must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess a strong knowledge of ASME, API, and ANSI standards. Project management experience is a definite plus, particularly in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project deliverables effectively.,
