Job Description

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Oracle, your main responsibility will be to provide post-sales support and solutions to customers, acting as their key advocate. You will handle both non-technical and technical customer inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact for customer relationships with Support. Your role will also involve collaborating with customer IT staff to resolve moderately complex technical issues related to Oracle products, with a focus on achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 6-10 years of relevant experience in PS DBA profile. - Familiarity with PeopleSoft Architecture. - Expertise in patching with Tuxedo and WebLogic. - Exposure to PeopleTools and PUM Upgrade. - Independently conducted at least 2 PSFT Upgrades from 9.0 to 9.2. - Ability to manage entire projects independently with advanced troubleshooting skills. - Proficiency in working with AIX, LINUX, SOLARIS & Windows Operating systems. - Strong understanding of SQL queries with the capability to write SQL Queries and Unix Scripts. - Experience in performance tuning at Application and Web Layers. - Skillful in performance tuning of Batch processes and SQL queries. - Good comprehension of Cobol Arrays and capable of resolving related issues. - Well-versed with Oracle DB 19C. - Previous experience working on Windows Server. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred. - Minimum of five years of related experience. - Experience with Oracle's core products, applications, and tools is important.
