As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your primary focus will be to provide post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base, while also acting as an advocate for customer needs. This will involve addressing post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through both phone and electronic channels, as well as handling technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, responsible for nurturing customer relationships with Support, and offering guidance and assistance to internal Oracle employees in various customer scenarios and escalated issues. In the role of a Senior Systems Engineer, you will engage with the customer's IT staff regularly, either on-site at the client's location or remotely. Your responsibilities will include resolving moderately complex technical issues related to the installation, recommended maintenance, usage, and troubleshooting of Oracle products. The role will require a high level of expertise in certain Oracle products and supported platforms. You will be expected to work independently with general guidance from management, providing updates on progress and status to the relevant stakeholders. The job responsibilities will be diverse and challenging, often requiring independent judgment. As you may have a project lead role, your ability to work closely with customers independently, possessing exceptional communication skills, and consistently ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction will be crucial. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience, with at least five years of related experience. Proficiency in Oracle's core products, applications, and tools is essential for this role. Responsibilities: - Possess 6-10 years of relevant experience in a PS DBA profile. - Proficient in PeopleSoft Architecture. - Expertise in patching with Tuxedo and WebLogic. - Familiarity with PeopleTools and PUM Upgrade. - Experienced in independently performing at least 2 PSFT Upgrades from 9.0 to 9.2. - Capable of handling entire projects independently with advanced troubleshooting skills. - Worked on AIX, LINUX, SOLARIS, and Windows Operating systems. - Strong understanding of SQL queries. - Ability to work individually and write SQL Queries and Unix Scripts. - Proficient in performance tuning at Application and Web Layers. - Experience in performance tuning of Batch processes and SQL queries. - Good understanding of Cobol Arrays and ability to resolve issues related to Cobol Arrays. - Well-versed in Oracle DB 19C. - Previous experience working on Windows Server. Clear, effective, and pro-active communication with the PM, Team Members and Client Business Users. . Work with the client business users to identify possible improvements in the Customized Objects / Process. . We are looking for a great team player with Can-Do attitude. . Hands-on experience as a consultant or analyst working with PeopleSoft FSCM , HCM and Campus 9.2 . Experience with designing and maintaining interfaces to external systems and vendors. . Should have Hands-On experience in minimum of 5 modules. . A strong understanding of standard development methodologies (Systems Development Lifecycle) in both maintenance and implementation organizations. . Strong skills in gathering and documenting business requirements for systems enhancements, performing fit/gap analysis, and writing functional or technical specifications based on requirements. . Proven skills in quality assurance, including creation of testing scripts and test execution. . Hands-On experience in People Code, People Tools, Application Designer, Application Engine, AWE, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, BI Publisher . Nice to have experience in PeopleSoft PUM upgrade and Tools upgrade . Preference will be given to candidates with the above experience in a healthcare industry environment. . The candidate should be open for relocation to either Bangalore OR Hyderabad and should be open for Onsite travel (U.S.A) .
