This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for:

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and support of Oracle Database (primarily 19c), including performance monitoring, tuning, patching, upgrades, CPU/PSU installation, database cloning.
• Installation and configuration of Oracle RDBMS software across development, testing, and production environments.
• Troubleshooting database-related issues and working with Oracle Support when necessary.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years specifically in Oracle Database administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of backup, restore, and recovery strategies.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Developers, QA engineers, and Oracle Support.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash is required; Python is a plus).
• Strong working knowledge in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate or other replication tools.
• Familiarity with document-oriented databases (e.g., MongoDB/PerconaDB).
• Ability to read and write scripts in Python.
• Basic experience or understanding of Ansible for automation and infrastructure provisioning.
