- Collaborate with stakeholders to define measurable acceptance criteria and KPIs (for example: reduced processing time, improved data accuracy) and deliver enhancements that meet those targets within agreed timelines.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Oracle APEX and Power BI; ensure dashboards meet performance and accuracy SLAs (load times, refresh frequency, data fidelity) and provide actionable insights to business users.
- Perform detailed functional analysis of existing reports and database processes; design or refine database structures to align with UI design and business logic.
- Develop new screens and UI components for static data setup and business processes using Oracle APEX.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for UI interfaces and integrations.
- Design and implement Linux shell scripts and automation to support deployments and scheduled processes.
- Configure and manage job scheduler processes.
- Author test plans and test cases for unit and integration testing; participate in testing and validation activities.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience as an Oracle APEX Developer; experience with APEX version 21 or later is preferred.
- At least 7 years of hands-on PL/SQL development experience, including procedures, functions, packages, and other database objects.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database (Oracle 19c or later) and PL/SQL performance tuning and best practices.
- Proven experience in web-based application development using Oracle APEX, including building interactive reports and forms.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and AJAX for enhancing UI interactivity.
- Experience with PL/SQL development tools (for example, SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer).
- Experience creating shell scripts on Linux and automating processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to change.
