Senior Optometrist

• Perform detailed refraction and visual acuity testing.
• Conduct preliminary eye evaluations, including slit-lamp, retinoscopy, and tonometry.
• Identify ocular abnormalities and refer patients to ophthalmologists for further evaluation.
• Assess binocular vision, color vision, and visual field as required.
• Assist in special investigations such as OCT, Fundus Photography, Biometry, A-Scan, B-Scan, and Keratometry.
• Support ophthalmologists during procedures and post-operative follow-ups.
• Record and maintain accurate clinical findings and patient data.
• Educate patients about diagnosis, treatment options, and lens prescriptions.
• Counsel patients regarding contact lenses, spectacles, refractive surgeries (LASIK/TransPRK), and low vision aids.
• Provide pre- and post-operative counseling for cataract and retina patients.
• Ensure smooth patient flow within OPD and investigation areas.
• Maintain proper documentation and timely entry in the EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with other departments such as reception, optical, and insurance.
• Adhere to hospital protocols for hygiene, sterilization, and patient safety.
• Maintain equipment in working condition and report any faults immediately.
• Participate in internal training sessions and continuing education programs.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
