Senior Offshore Structural Engineer

As a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer at GMCG India, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, analysis, and assessment of fixed and floating offshore structures. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with international and local regulations, utilizing structural analysis software, providing technical expertise, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with teams and clients for high-quality engineering solutions. You will stay updated with industry standards and best practices to deliver efficient and safe engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, analysis, and assessment of fixed and floating offshore structures. - Ensure compliance with international and local regulations for offshore platform design. - Utilize SACS, ANSYS, or equivalent software for structural analysis. - Provide hands-on technical expertise in offshore structural design. - Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing training and guidance. - Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients for high-quality solutions. - Stay updated with industry standards and regulatory changes. Qualifications Required: - 15-18 years of experience in offshore structural engineering for fixed and floating structures. - Strong knowledge of international and local offshore design codes. - Proficiency in SACS, ANSYS, or equivalent structural analysis software. - Proven experience in handling offshore structural projects. - Leadership skills to lead a team and manage projects effectively. - Bachelor's degree in engineering (postgraduate degree preferred). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
