Senior Node.js Developer

You are a skilled Node.js & Express.js Developer who will be joining our development team. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js, while also integrating various APIs and database systems. As a Node.js & Express.js Developer, your key responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services, building RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party services. You will work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and write clean, well-documented, and scalable code. Collaboration with front-end developers and other team members is essential, along with debugging and fixing production issues and optimizing performance. Additionally, you will be implementing security and data protection protocols. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in backend development and strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), async/await, and event-driven architecture is crucial. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and authentication methods like JWT and OAuth is required. A solid understanding of database systems such as MongoDB and MySQL, familiarity with Git and version control workflows, and basic knowledge of deployment and server environments are also essential. Preferred but not mandatory qualifications include experience with TypeScript, exposure to frontend frameworks like React or Angular, knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, and an understanding of microservices architecture.
