Role Overview : We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Node.js/Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing our backend systems and applications, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality digital solutions. Your expertise in Node.js and backend technologies will drive the development of scalable, efficient, and robust backend services. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain robust and high-performance backend services using Node.js. Lead the architectural design of backend systems to ensure scalability and efficiency. Collaborate with frontend developers and project managers to integrate frontend with backend services. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security and data protection. Implement and maintain database systems, ensuring data integrity and efficiency. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to support application development. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Engage in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices in backend development. Continuously improve our development processes, adopting new technologies and methodologies where beneficial. Required Skills: Deep expertise in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and callbacks. Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and their declarative query languages. Proficient in RESTful API design and development. Knowledge of server-side templating languages and CSS preprocessors. Familiarity with front-end technologies (like Angular, React, or Vue.js) is advantageous. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker containers. Understanding of security compliance and data protection. Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. Proficiency in leveraging AI to enhance development productivity is preferred.
