Senior Node.Js Developer

You will be working as a Senior Software Engineer in Cochin, responsible for developing scalable and maintainable backend systems using Node.js. Your role will involve leveraging your 4+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and JavaScript to build robust solutions. You should have a strong understanding of core Node.js concepts, including Asynchronous Programming, event-driven architecture, and promises/async-await patterns. Additionally, you must have at least 1 year of experience with the Express.js framework and a solid grasp of Relational Databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of GraphQL, development and integration of RESTful APIs, proficiency in Git, and hands-on experience with AWS services like SQS, SNS, and general infrastructure are essential for this role. Familiarity with Kafka for event streaming and messaging systems, as well as experience in building and managing n8n workflows for automation and integration tasks, will be advantageous. To qualify for this position, you should hold a bachelor's degree in a technology-related field and demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm for development. Rapidly learning and applying new technologies to achieve business objectives is a key requirement. Your extensive experience in writing code to access and manipulate databases, along with previous work on Web Services, E-commerce, and Open Source projects, will be beneficial. Collaboration with the design team to align code with design layouts, working in cross-functional teams, and engaging with peers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are crucial aspects of this role.
