Contractual
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on
security and firewalls.
Strong expertise with FortiGate (Fortinet) and Palo Alto Networks firewalls
(design, implementation, policy management).
Proven experience with VPN technologies: IPsec, SSL VPN, site-to-site, and
client-based remote access solutions.
Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, NAT,
VLANs).
Experience with high availability (HA) firewall configurations and
clustering.
Familiarity with IDS/IPS, URL filtering, DLP, threat intelligence, and other
firewall security services.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise
environments.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE4-7, Palo Alto PCNSE/PCNSA,
CCNP Security, or equivalent.
Experience with cloud networking & firewalls (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Background in network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
