The Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lead of Motion Graphics Artist/Video editor to join our growing company.

You will collaborate with other creatives to create compelling and eye-catching images, animations, and campaigns for our clients. As an animator, we'll be depending on you to create stunning visuals that can captivate our prospects and current customers alike.

Your duties will include developing image and video assets for marketing initiatives, including video advertising, product/ explainer videos and prerolls.

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities an animator is expected to undertake in their position.

1. Visualize & Design storyboards
2. Accurately use company branding assets (incl. Colors, fonts, etc.) to:
3. Develop completed and high-quality animations, in a timely manner
4. Develop expressive images and video for clients while working with other creatives
5. Advise best practices throughout the design projects for example:
6. Common errors to point out in the design and animation QA processes.
7. Work with a wide range of media, after effects, graphic design, and animation software
8. Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
9. Adhere to voice and messaging specifications for animated pieces
10. Accept and work with feedback to create on-brand deliverables at every stage of work

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Fine Arts, 3D animation, and a related creative field OR four years of relevant professional experience
2. Proficiency in computer animation programs such as Adobe Suite, Media Encoder
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Minimum of four years experience in animation
5. Attention to detail
6. Ideally, you have a portfolio of related work across several creative projects
7. Strong analytical and technical skills along with artistic talent
8. Time management and organizational skills
9. Knowledge of layouts, animation fundamentals, special effects, and typography
10. Experience with both print and digital media
