Senior Mobile Engineers (React Native)

Role Overview: You will be joining Fluent Health as a Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native) to lead the transition to a unified React Native platform and build a new offline-first application. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a secure and seamless user experience by solving complex data challenges and collaborating with native Android and iOS teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement a robust offline-first data layer for the React Native application. - Architect a synchronization engine for bidirectional data flow between the device and FHIR backend. - Define and implement a merge-based conflict resolution strategy for data integrity. - Manage local data storage, including large binary files, on the device's file system. - Lead the development of a scalable and secure React Native application from scratch. - Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance. - Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with native Android and iOS teams. - Integrate GraphQL and RESTful APIs for efficient data handling from the FHIR backend. - Implement FHIR-compliant solutions for interoperability with healthcare systems. - Enforce security measures to protect sensitive PHI and ensure compliance with regulations. - Leverage AI tools, stay updated with trends, and enhance codebase scalability and maintainability. Qualifications: - Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in mobile app development, with 2 years in React Native. - Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript. - Deep knowledge of React Native ecosystem and offline-first applications. - Strong understanding of GraphQL and experience with API integration. - Familiarity with mobile security best practices and compliance standards. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to lead projects, mentor junior developers, and make architectural decisions. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration. - Prior experience in Native Android or iOS development. - Familiarity with healthtech or highly regulated industries. - Portfolio demonstrating understanding of data and security challenges. - Knowledge of tools like Firebase, Sentry, or other observability platforms. - Experience with multi-module app structures and large-scale mobile app architecture.,
