Senior Mobile Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and test suites for web, mobile, and API applications. As a part of the role, you will lead end-to-end test automation efforts across backend and frontend systems while working collaboratively within Agile teams following Scrum methodologies. It will be essential to implement Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and Exploratory Testing. Your role will also involve analyzing and troubleshooting complex software systems efficiently and ensuring the quality of assigned deliverables for seamless releases. You will need to provide regular progress updates, highlight risks, and document defects and resolutions, while actively contributing to improving QA processes, tools, and team practices. The ideal candidate must possess strong hands-on programming experience with Core Java (10+ years) and have a deep understanding of OOPs concepts and Java-based automation. Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Appium (for mobile automation), and REST Assured (API testing) is crucial, along with experience in using the Cucumber BDD framework. Additionally, familiarity with JDBC, relational databases, analytical abilities, debugging skills, and problem-solving skills are required. Strong communication (written and verbal) and team collaboration skills are essential for this role. Experience in the Supply Chain or Retail domain applications is considered a good-to-have skill. Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), CI tools (e.g., Jenkins), and test reporting tools is beneficial. Exposure to containerization tools (Docker), cloud platforms, or performance testing will be advantageous. It is also desirable to have the ability to work with APIs developed in other languages. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in automation testing, with a preference for 10+ years in Java development, is required.
