Job Description

As a Senior MLOps Engineer within the Horizontal Data Science Enablement Team at SSO Data Science, your primary responsibility will be to address MLOps challenges, oversee the Databricks platform, establish CI/CD pipelines, and promote best practices across the organization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining Databricks clusters, ensuring optimal performance, and managing security protocols to protect sensitive data in compliance with Mastercard standards. Additionally, you will be involved in integrating various data sources into Databricks to guarantee seamless data flow and consistency. Your key tasks will include assisting in the administration, configuration, and upkeep of Databricks clusters and workspaces, monitoring cluster performance to identify workload issues, implementing security measures, and addressing infrastructure-related issues promptly. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of MLOps solutions such as model monitoring, feature catalog maintenance, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline the model lifecycle from development to production. You will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of services post-deployment by monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. To excel in this role, you are required to possess a Master's degree in computer science or a related field, along with substantial experience in Databricks management, MLOps solutions like MLFlow, data analysis, and data integration. Your background should also include at least 2 years of DevOps or systems engineering experience, proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven, and strong coding skills in Python or other languages like Java and C++. A systematic problem-solving approach, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a global 24x7 environment will be essential for success in this position. Candidates with experience in SQL tuning, automation, and a proven track record of operating in global time zones will have a distinct advantage in this role.,
