Senior Mendix Developer

As a Senior Mendix Developer at our Bengaluru ITPL location, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of Mendix-based applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance applications. In this leadership position, you will mentor junior developers, ensure adherence to best practices, drive technical innovation, and maintain quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining Mendix applications for web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, converting them into technical specifications for scalable, robust solutions. Ensuring application scalability, performance, and security will be crucial, along with conducting code reviews, enforcing best practices, and resolving technical issues. Staying updated with the latest Mendix platform updates and features will be essential, as well as providing guidance to junior developers, collaborating with QA, project managers, and business analysts for successful project delivery. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, leading small teams through various development stages and working flexibly with both onsite and offshore teams. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 3 years in Mendix. A Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification is required, and you should possess a strong understanding of Mendix architecture, microflows, domain models, and integrations. Experience with REST APIs, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS (Java), and familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices are necessary. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential, along with experience in building scheduled events and external integrations. Preferred skills for this role include knowledge of microservices architecture, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.,
